1. About these terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the LSOE Learning website and platform, operated by LSOE Learning, United Kingdom. By registering an account or purchasing a course, you agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree, you must not use our platform.
2. Use of this website
You agree to use LSOE Learning only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the platform in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform, its servers, or systems.
- Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material.
- Upload or transmit any content that is harmful, offensive, defamatory, or infringes the rights of any third party.
- Attempt to copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from platform content without our explicit written consent.
3. Account registration
To access paid course content and track your progress, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
- Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
- Notify us immediately at support@lsoelearning.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
- Not share your account credentials with any other person.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Course access
When you purchase a course, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and complete that course for your own personal, non-commercial, professional development purposes.
- Course access is for the individual purchaser only and may not be shared, resold, or transferred.
- Unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase, course access is provided on a lifetime access basis, subject to the course remaining available on the platform.
- We reserve the right to withdraw or modify course content at any time without notice, provided that existing enrolees retain reasonable access to the version of the course they purchased.
5. Payments and refunds
All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
Refund requests may be considered within a reasonable period of purchase, provided that course content has not been substantially accessed. To request a refund, please contact us with your order reference at support@lsoelearning.com. We will review each request on a case-by-case basis.
We reserve the right to update our refund policy at any time.
6. Certificates
Certificates of completion are issued when you have successfully completed all required lessons in a course and met any applicable completion requirements. Certificates are issued in PDF format and include a unique verification number.
- Certificates confirm completion of a specific course. They are not a guarantee of employment or professional qualification unless the course is explicitly accredited by a professional body.
- Certificates may include CPD hours where the course is CPD-accredited. It is your responsibility to ensure the certificate is accepted by your professional body.
- We reserve the right to revoke a certificate if there is evidence of fraudulent completion or misuse.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use the platform to:
- Submit false or misleading information or impersonate another person.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of any part of the platform.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access, copy, or collect data from the platform without our express written permission.
- Engage in any conduct that disrupts or interferes with the operation of the platform.
8. Intellectual property
All content on the LSOE Learning platform — including course materials, videos, text, images, trademarks, and logos — is owned by or licensed to LSOE Learning and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, republish, or transmit any content from the platform without our prior written consent, except for your own private, non-commercial use.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LSOE Learning shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform or inability to access course content, including but not limited to loss of income, business interruption, or loss of data.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant course.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated by email or by a prominent notice on the platform. Your continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
